At Canwil Textiles, we understand the importance of feeling safe during these uncertain times. That’s why we’ve pivoted our business to supply materials to make personal protective equipment (PPE) and provide other products to help you protect yourself. We carry a selection of Covid-19 PPE.
PPE is worn to minimize your exposure to hazards such as the Novel Coronavirus, or Covid-19. According to OSHA, “Personal protective equipment may include items such as gloves, safety glasses and shoes, earplugs or muffs, hard hats, respirators, or coveralls, vests and full body suits.” Whether you make your own PPE or purchase ready-made items, you want to make sure your equipment fits properly. There are many resources available online to help you adjust your PPE correctly.
We carry supplies for making your PPE. These days, buying PPE from shops is difficult. Many retailers are out of stock, and wait times are long. Due to Canwil’s relationships with vendors all over the world, we have been able to secure a variety of products for our customers who want to make their PPE.
If you have questions about any of our products, how we source our materials, or product certifications, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 678.985.5434.
Not all our customers make their PPE. That’s why we carry masks, face shields, gloves, thermometers, and adhesive-backed nose clips.
We carry KN95 masks and aluminum bridge strips with adhesive. The masks are certified KN95 masks (the Asian standard) and are made with spunbond and meltblown polypropylene. Our masks are disposable. If you already have a mask or have an ill-fitting mask, you can purchase one of our self-adhesive aluminum bridge strips. Add to any of your cloth masks for an extra snug (and safe) fit.
To step up your game, we also carry face shields and gloves. This added level of protection keeps you safe from contamination. The face shields do a great job of protecting your eyes and face. Face shields are often used by doctors to protect themselves. And gloves serve as a barrier for your hands and a reminder not to touch your face when you’re out in public. The virus can be transmitted from touching contaminated surfaces and enters through your nose, mouth, and eyes.
Lastly, our infrared thermometers are perfect for home or businesses who want to scan for possible fevers. Many people are using this method for COVID-19 detection and prevention.
Canwil Textiles understands the need for PPE in the United States. With many states requiring that you wear masks in public, now’s the time to stock up on the materials you need to make your own or ready-made face masks and shields. If you’re not sure what you need to make your masks and other PPE, don’t hesitate to reach out to our fabric experts at email@example.com.
